My name suggestion went toward something with "trail" since, as you said in the video, the trail feature is a pretty unique mechanic and makes the game stand out. So something clever with "trail"... "Trail to Oregant", Trailbuggers", "Tiny trail" etc. Or combining it with "Inhabit-ants" because that is a great name/pun =)

You should add fungi as an mushroom but if ants get to close they get infected and die also even tho ants are kinda also termites you should add some termites and mites

imo should be colony management-y like sure you could go out and hunt slugs or other possibly dangerous beasts or leave them be if they are too much of a hassle at the moment but that could go bad if one just decides your colony looks like any source of food.

If it wasn’t for the wisdom behind the creation the human beings see around them I don’t think the humans beings would’ve able to even spark a light 💡 bulb up, even if all the humans beings got together with all their brains I don’t think they would’ve able to create a single light 💡 but thanks to the lightning we see around where the humans beings have learned haw to create electricity and all the electrical magnetic particles which we use for internet and communicate with one another through phones in seconds from one side of the world to the other side, thanks to all the wisdom we see behind the creation around us and the materials it produces which the human beings observe and get all their ideas from and use it’s materials to create everything we humans have created around us in the name of science and technology even camera lenses on our phones just compare it with the lenses of an eye or even in engineering the heart of science and technology which we use to ride fly and sail with and all the companies of the world use to run their factories with to create and produce all the materials and products we buy and sell and fill up our homes with, just compare the engine with the heart, the only difference is the engine needs a spark plug to ignite the mixture of gasoline and air in the core of the engine to cause the engine to pump and the heart pumps automatically and this is all what the human beings are doing just copying and stealing all the ideas from the wisdom they see behind the creation around around them and creating everything you see the humans have created in the name of science and technology.

Basically: 1. Don't try to make your dream game from the get-go. 2. Make a plan for your game, not a wishlist.

Different name suggestion: "Antix". You could even have your other names as a subtitle. "Antix: Ants take over the world". Although, simply "Ant people" still would be a good name.

Instead of levels, this feels like a type of game for randomly generated worlds, like the Civ series

The ants are invisible and it's lagging on my windows. I think the lag is just my windows. Edit: The item drops are invisible too

I think but title suggestions are not that great. Too generic and not playful enough, just doesn't suit the vibe of the game. Don't have any really good suggestions myself from the top of my head, but "InhabitAnts" is a lot better already! Would focus on an "Ants"-wordplay that gives room for the fundamental content of the game. "Ants & Plants"? "Ant Nation"? "Tiny Society"? "Antsy Life"?

i think you should combine both names to "Mega Colony:Ants take over the world" this way you get both positives of them. think about it

Id recommend changing the archery range into a spitter ant raiser to keep with the ant theme. They can still be technologically advanced ants but i think where possible it would be cool to see mechanics be more related to real life ant behaviors

I love the idea, that if you have finished a level you get a point to use in a skill tree which then upgrades your ants. Some ideas for the tree would include: more ants from the beginning, buildings cost less, you get more clay or other resources, ants move faster, etc. For the branches it could be things like: An easier Start, easier in the long run, defensive, aggresive,...

I think project colony has a great ring to it but it might seem too serious foe the tone of the game but it does leave things open for interest while directing the audience to what the game will be like

Ants Take Over the World, for sure. "Mega Colony" is just boring, and for real you need a name that includes the concept of ants.

A good name is Unique (stands out from the crowd, doesn't get confused with other things, has good SEO), Easy to Say, Easy to type, As short as possible (1 syllable is king, 2 or 3 is great, 4 or more and its getting away from us), and Captures the vibe of the game. Mega Colony is 5 syllables which is pretty long, and it's not unique. But it is easy to say and easy to type, and does convey something about the vibe of the game. Though I don't think it captures how cute the game is. Ants Take Over the World is surprisingly only 6 syllables despite being 5 words long!! But overall too long imo. Even shortened to Ants Take Over, its crossing that 3 syllable goal marker imo. It is unique and easy to say though, and it does capture something about the vibe, though it reads to me kind of like a campy monster movie title. Which again, doesn't capture how cute and "magical forest"-y the game is so far. Ants Take Over makes me think of like a human populated city being overrun by giant ants or something, campy horror type stuff. So I would say you ideally want something 1-3 syllables, 1 or *maybe* 2 words long, cute sounding, and conveys foresty nature kinda vibes.

not convinced by either of those names tbh. off the top of my head something like 'mite-y' could be better? as in a play on mighty and mite and conveying the sense of many small things becoming one big thing?

The outline of the mouth going on top of the thunderbolt shaped tongue is a bit... Strange. (It looks like a tiny beard.)
